I regularly visit this market and have been for years, as I live right up the street. Recently I believe the ownership has changed. With that being said that still have very reasonable pricing on beers with a decent selection; they have also increased vape selection and even made a one-time-exception when I received a faulty product. The new owners/employees really do live up to “the friendliest store in the universe”

Well, you don't need the local news to understand that this is owned by someone else. Walked my daughter to the store the other day with a $10 bill. We were able to get two slushies and a sucker. I put the $0.75 in the change dish. The two slushies I had to ask for the large cups. The large cups were kept behind the scenes. He sold me two larges and didn't even give me two large cups. Had to ask for the large cups. Thank goodness I'm bold enough to do so or else I would have walked out with two $4 smalls. Was so disappointed with the price of the slushies, I ended up washing out the plastic cups and keeping them. No lids offered in the size I bought. Note to self don't go there. I don't care for the owners of the 7-Eleven also so honestly I'll go up Broadway now if I need anything convenient. Prices have gone up. They've widened the items to buy to be Vapes, La booboos and psychedelic mushrooms. It's not friendly anymore. If you're not even going to agree and be friendly to the people who frequent the store, you should take the sign down. It's not the friendliest store anymore.

The new owner store Manager son is rudely and their prices went way up and they don’t use EBT there. I don’t know why it’s been a month now haven’t went back since… There’s a type of energy that store and it’s off and their food is expired mostly the sweets think twice before spending your money there hopefully I save someone else from experience this horrible treatment in your own community that we the people pay taxes for.

NEW OWNERS ARE HORRIBLE! As of October 2025, the new ownership that bought the market are some of the rudest people I've had the displeasure of living next to. This used to be a very convenient neighborhood place to walk to. The old owners even had a sign that said 'FRIENDLIEST STORE IN THE UNIVERSE' on the side of the wall... GOOD THING THE NEW OWNERS TOOK THAT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!

Cute little market! The husband and wife that own this shop are SO sweet and always happy. They have good options for different ciders and beers. A lot of singles which I like. It’s always great to support local shops. Buy your snacks here next time you’re passing by!
